Meeting of the Academic Supervisory Committee to prepare the country's Red Plus strategy and strategic environmental and social impact assessment No. 3/2021 (Academic Committee on the Design of Information Systems to Protect Environmental and Social Impacts and design of grievance mechanisms)

On September 16, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Mr. Thanarin Na Nakorn, Inspector-General of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, chaired the 3/2021 Academic Steering Committee for the Development of the National REDD+ Strategy and Strategic Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (Academic Committee on the Design of Information Systems for Environmental and Social Impact Protection and the Design of Grievance Mechanisms) at the 2nd floor meeting room, Operations Center Building (HA Slade), Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, and via video conference. The meeting acknowledged the progress in organizing the information system and monitoring of environmental and social impact prevention and the grievance resolution mechanism under the preparation of the national REDD+ Strategy and Strategic Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, REDD+ Mechanism Readiness Project (R-PP), and jointly considered and provided comments on 1) the draft report on the information system and monitoring of environmental and social impact protection and 2) the draft report on the grievance resolution mechanism, presented by the research team from the Thailand Environment Institute Foundation.
