On September 21, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Mr. Thanya Netithamkul, Director-General of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, and Ms. Rungnapa Pattanawibul, Deputy Director-General of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, along with relevant officials, held a meeting to discuss “Carbon Credits from Forest Planting and Care: Operational Guidelines and Sharing in the Case of Project Implementation in Government Areas” in collaboration with the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), led by Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Director of the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), with the objective of publicizing the Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER) and discussing guidelines for implementing carbon credit projects and sharing carbon credits for forests in areas under the responsibility of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.
