Forest Climate Change Steering and Learning Center (Tak Province)
Activity report between 4-10 June 2022
- The Driving and Learning Center transported saplings to Ban Kring Pati Khli, Village No. 9, Mae Chan Subdistrict, Umphang District, Tak Province, which is a neighboring village of the REDD+ project target group, to join the community in planting trees to reduce global warming, covering 2 plots, covering an area of approximately 10 rai.
- Participated in the monthly meeting of the network of leaders and the committee of 7 village groups to summarize the results of operations and plan for the following month.
- Improving the nursery of the REDD+ project at the Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary Office to accommodate school children, students, and tourists to grow seedlings under the activity “Travel and give, help reduce global warming”
- Organized a seedling cultivation activity at the REDD+ Project nursery, Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary, with 50 non-formal education students from Umphang District participating in the seedling cultivation activity, totaling 452 seedlings, including 390 red seedlings and 62 yellow Ashoka or Sri Yala seedlings.
