Forest Climate Change Steering and Learning Center (Tak Province)
Activity report
On June 3, 2022, we collaborated with local government agencies and communities in Village No. 2, Mae Chan Subdistrict, Umphang District, Tak Province to organize a forest planting activity to honor Her Majesty the Queen on the occasion of her birthday on June 3, 2022 at the headwaters of Tee Lor Su Waterfall. We supported the seedlings that tourists and schoolchildren planted under the ReddPlup project at the nursery of the Driving and Learning Center (Tak Province) in the Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary. The number of seedlings from the said seedling planting activity is 1,482 and we requested support for seedlings from the Royal Development Study Center for Hill Tribe People in Tak Province for another 700 seedlings, totaling 2,182 seedlings, with a planting area of approximately 12 rai.
Objective: To restore the headwater forest of Tee Lor Su Waterfall, increase green areas and biodiversity, create natural balance, and help reduce climate change or global warming.
