Readiness Preparation Proposal (R-PP) meeting No. 1/2018

On January 12, 2018, the Forestry Sector Climate Change Office Foreign Affairs Division A meeting of the committee overseeing the implementation of the Readiness Preparation Proposal (R-PP) project No. 1/2018 was held at the meeting room, 2nd floor, HASlade Building, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, with Mr. Pinsak Suraswadi, Deputy Director-General of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, chaired the meeting. There were attendees at the meeting consisting of Representative of the Public Debt Management Office Representative of the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board Representative of the Royal Forest Department Representative of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources Representative of the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning Representative of the Forest Industry Organization Representative of the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) Representative of the Office of International Natural Resources and Environmental Cooperation Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and representatives from relevant agencies of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, including the Office of Planning and Information and the Office of Forest Fire Prevention, Suppression and Control. Office of Conservation and Development of Conservation Areas National Park Office Bureau of Wildlife Conservation and the Foreign Affairs Division who is the secretary attending the meeting The meeting was informed of the progress of the project to prepare for the Redd Plus mechanism. and consider giving opinions on the project's implementation plan and spending plan for fiscal year 2018 - 2020; hiring consultants to develop reference levels/reference release levels for the forest sector; and monitoring, reporting, and verification systems, and appointing an academic supervision working group for the preparation of the country's RedPlus strategy. and strategic environmental and social impact assessment. Appointment of a working group to supervise academics in the preparation of communication strategies. and access to information about Redd Plus and the working group for academic supervision of the development of reference levels/reference release levels in the forest sector. and measurement, reporting, and verification systems.
