discussion meeting Strategic Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (SESA) for the preparation of the Redd Plus Country Strategy

On July 15, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Ms. Jintana Bupphaphon, Plant Species Researcher, along with officials from the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, attended a meeting to discuss the Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA) for the preparation of the REDD+ Strategy for Thailand. Dr. Wicharn Simachaya, Director of the Thailand Environment Institute, gave a welcome speech and opened the meeting via the Zoom online program. The meeting aimed to collect opinions from relevant sectors, including the government, private sector, civil society, academic sector, local communities and other sectors, on the strategic environmental and social impact assessment for the preparation of the REDD+ Strategy for the country.
